How to choose your Shopify theme?
Now that you have an idea of what a very good Shopify theme looks like, it is important to understand the important points to consider if you choose a more personal search.
It’s very important to choose carefully because the themes directly define the impression your shop leaves to your visitors. To do this, you must:
- Consider your requirements: there are far too many pretty themes. Avoid rushing to the first theme because one or two people say « he converts better ». First of all, you have to determine what you really need by determining the features you want for your shop, how the products will be presented, how many products you plan to offer, etc.
- Start with free themes: paid themes are not an exact science and if you are new to this field, I advise you to start with free themes first. You may be able to find the one that comes closest to what you’re looking for. Otherwise, you can turn to paid themes, with already in mind a draft of the final aspect of your website.
- Focus on your sector: make sure that the final theme you choose corresponds to the sector of activity in which your shop operates. You probably know that each sector of activity sends different messages to consumers (colors, copywriting, etc.). You must then make sure that your theme and your shop are in adequacy with your activity.
The Shopify theme you have to choose should ideally give you enough control over your shop to create a suitable customer experience.
It’s not always easy and the themes that participate will make your life easier. It’s also useless to buy themes for more than $100 unless your needs are very specific and you need a tailor-made theme.
If I have a theme to recommend it would be Wokiee without hesitation, I use it mostly and it’s really, really good!
