Developed by a French team, Seller Pulse is an excellent tool to find trends and find winning products simply. Find out how to use it properly!
I’m used to reviewing tools on the blog that allow you to find products for sale in dropshipping. I recently talked about another French online service.
That said, the Americans are way ahead of French since they are behind the vast majority of tools and plugins for e-commerce.
So today, I’d like to talk to you about Seller Pulse, a great tool created by e-commerce enthusiasts!
Seller Pulse In a few words
The main objective of Seller Pulse is about finding winning products easily. It is a multi-platform tool since it can be used not only with Aliexpress, but also with Amazon.
Through a well-designed interface and a powerful search engine, you can search for any product and obtain data about it such as the sales curve, prices, etc.
In operation, it’s quite similar to Sell The Trend, unlike many of the monitoring features that exist on Seller Pulser. I’ll go into more detail about that later.
You’ll see that it’s really easy to use and very powerful, whether you do dropshipping with Shopify or via the marketplaces!
Key features of Seller Pulse
Search by category
The main objective of Seller Pulse is to search for products on Aliexpress and Amazon in order to know the current trends. For this, their search engine is very well thought out.
In the Product Search tab, you can use different filters and options to find just about anything you want. For example, the first thing to do is to select one or more categories :
There are a total of 24 categories that you can check or uncheck for your search. Moreover, the number of products referenced is indicated in brackets.
If you are looking for ideas, I advise you to select all of them so as not to limit the search results.
Search by keyword
Just below are the filter settings. You can make your products meet a lot of requirements:
These different parameters are very effective in refining the products you wish to see displayed. In this example, I use the keyword « dog » because I am looking for products for dogs, with a minimum of 100 orders. In this way, I can already do a first sorting at the supplier level.
Another particularly interesting option is the small section on the right. It displays the number of orders for the last X days. In my case, I chose the last 7 days.
For work on your Facebook ads or product descriptions, the « Video only » option is very interesting. By creating viral ads, you will be able to make a lot of sales.
Analyze a product
The whole point of being able to do such an advanced search is to find winning products. I will take as an example here a simple search on dog collars. I tick the option to get results with a video.
Here is an overview of the first three products I get with the search « dog collar »:
In addition to the 5 buttons I’ll talk about next, Seller Pulse gives us for each product:
- The category
- Price per piece
- The number of customer notifications
- The average score
- The number of orders
- The number of orders over the last X days
View the product
The first button allows you to register the product for future reference. The second one is more interesting to get several curves on the product :
The graph allows you to have information up to several months and years. Here you can see the evolution of prices, feedback, orders and also stock!
The third button is simply a redirection to the Aliexpress page. Where it gets more interesting is with the possibility to get a non-exhaustive but rather complete list of shops selling the product.
We’re used to seeing this with other similar services, with the difference that Seller Pulse doesn’t stop at Shopify stores:
This feature allows you to have a long list of Shopify, WooCommerce, eBay, Amazon and many others online stores like Etsy, DHGate, etc… Wherever the product appears.
As I checked the box to have the videos of the products, the tool shows me a video for each product. It’s up to you to see if you integrate it into your product description.
This video is pretty good to illustrate my product, I’ll download it to add it!
And the Google Chrome extension, what is it for?
Since 2019, the developers of Seller Pulse have developed a free extension available for Chrome browsers.
It works very simply when you browse on Aliexpress and allows you to get real time information on any product of the platform as shown in this screenshot :
Just click on the extension icon to get product and supplier data. You can also save the product in your Seller Pulse dashboard to view it later.
They also have an extension dedicated to active product search on Amazon. It’s not the same, but it allows you to have more or less the same information, it’s a good alternative.
Commerce Inspector + Seller Pulse = The perfect duo!
The other time, I was talking about Commerce Inspector, an app that is used to legally spy on your competitors Shopify by discovering their best sellers, their traffic, their apps, etc..
I thought that using them in a complementary way would be very interesting. One allows you to find winning products and the shops that sell them, and the other allows you to analyse these same shops in detail.
With Commerce Inspector, you can even find Facebook and Instagram ads launched by your competitors!
These two tools combined will allow you to better understand your market, offer the right products to the right people while keeping an eye on what your competition is doing.
What is the price of Seller Pulse?
Seller Pulse offers a single price with a free 3-day trial period, without the need to enter credit card information to get started.
The price is therefore $39 every month, which corresponds to about 36€. For this price, you have of course access to all the functionalities of the tool, including the country search.
In itself, you don’t have to pay anything. I advise you to try the tool for free during the 3 days offered and if it suits you, you can continue the adventure.
What do I think of Seller Pulse?
The good thing about Seller Pulse is that the product data is updated daily. Which means you always have access to fresh information.
With this tool, you won’t have to manually analyze products to find out whether or not they are winners. With just a few clicks, you know the potential of any product.
The 3 days offered are perfect to try out the tool completely and get a concrete idea. The premium plan is not necessary at all at the beginning.
Whether you’re into dropshipping with Shopify, WordPress or Amazon, Seller Pulse will save you time!
